Privacy Policy
Last updated: 31 October 2026
This policy explains how Snowleaf Limited (“we”, “us”), which publishes books as Snowleaf Press, handles personal information when you use this website. We are the controller of that information. You can contact us about this policy or your information at [email protected].
Information we collect
Notification requests. If you ask to be told when online practice opens, we collect your email address and the date and time of your request.
Book access. When you unlock the audio and companion material for a book, we check your answer to a question about the printed book. We do not ask for your name or email address to do this.
Technical information. As with any website, our hosting provider receives technical details such as your IP address and browser type when you visit, so that pages can be delivered and the site protected from abuse. We do not keep your IP address; our security records note only what happened and why.
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
How we use it
We use your email address only to send the notification you asked for, on the basis of your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us.
We use technical information and bot checks to keep the site secure and working, which is in our legitimate interests and yours.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent personal information. We use Cloudflare to host the site, store the notification list and run an automated check (Cloudflare Turnstile) that tells people from bots on the unlock page. Cloudflare acts on our behalf and may process information outside the UK under appropriate safeguards. When you buy a book, the purchase is handled by the retailer under its own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep notification requests until we have sent the notification, then delete them. If you ask us to remove your email address sooner, we will.
Cookies
We use one cookie for each book you unlock, so that you do not have to answer the book question again on each visit. It lasts for a year, holds no personal details and is strictly necessary for the service you asked for. We use no analytics or advertising cookies. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings; you will then be asked the book question again.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your personal information, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, to receive it in a portable form, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, email us. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
